Following a delicious lunch at the base hotel, you will drive into the Aberdare National Park with small overnight bags as most of the luggage is being left at the base. Following breakfast, you will depart in the morning. Your journey will continue towards the Rift Valley and then to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. Relax and freshen up at your hotel before immersing into an afternoon game drive in the park that will also take you to the shores of the lake. Lake Nakuru is one of Rift Valley’s lakes at an elevation of 1,754 m above sea level. Lake Nakuru National Park (188 km2, 73 mi2), was created around Lake Nakuru, near Nakuru Town. It is famous for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores. The surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually shifting mass of pink. Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous Maasai Mara game reserve, to arrive in time for lunch.
