Welcome to Kenya with a briefing by our representative. You will spend the night in Kenya’s buzzing capital Nairobi, and you will understand why Nairobi is known as the city under the sun.
On your first morning, you will drive north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantations to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a 360 km2 wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya's Laikipia County, situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. It provides a sanctuary for great apes and boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. It also houses the two remaining northern white rhino in the world. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is situated here, and provides a haven for orphaned, abandoned, and rescued chimpanzees.
Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at your hotel and proceed for an afternoon game drive in the conservancy. Dinner, relishing the sunset, and overnight stay at your hotel.
Depart after breakfast and proceed south to the Aberdares region. Following a delicious lunch at the base hotel, you will proceed into the Aberdare National Park with small overnight bags as most of the luggage is left at the base. You may opt to enjoy game viewing from the decks or to immerse into the spectacular untamed wilderness. Dinner and overnight stay at your preferred hotel.
You will depart in the morning. Your journey will continue towards the Rift Valley and then to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. Relax and freshen up at your hotel before immersing into an afternoon game drive in the park that will also take you to the shores of the lake. Lake Nakuru is one of Rift Valley’s lakes at an elevation of 1,754 m above sea level. Lake Nakuru National Park (188 km2, 73 mi2), was created around Lake Nakuru, near Nakuru Town. It is famous for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores. The surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually shifting mass of pink. Dinner will be ready when you get back. Overnight stay at your preferred hotel.
Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous Maasai Mara game reserve, to arrive in time for lunch. Get a taste of Maasai Mara and its breathtaking wildlife and infinite plains in an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at your preferred hotel.
Immerse into the rhythm of wildlife and its spectacular sights with a full day in Maasai Mara, with both morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti, and its rolling plains are home to spectacular wildlife, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, elephants, lions, leopards, and much more. All meals and overnight stay at your preferred hotel.
We know it will not be easy to leave… You’ll bid farewell to The Mara after breakfast, and drive back to Nairobi, arriving early afternoon. You may choose to stop for shopping and lunch, and then transfer to the airport for your journey back home.
